Due to the very low cooldown on Liara's singularity and Javik's slam, this combination instantly gets rid of those remaining enemies without any kind of defense without having to worry about waiting for the abilities to reset so you can get back to focusing on the tougher enemies. Sometimes you come across guardians or cannibals which tend to be a nuisance while you're focusing on the bigger threat on the battlefield. Useful only against enemies without shields/armor/barriers.
